there was a coal strike at the time and theo had the mine owners and the union leaders over to the white house to talk it out. america was really dependant on coal at the time. Theo threatend that he would march the U.S. army out to the coal mines if they wouldin't resolve that. the mine owners were like "you can't do that" and theo was like "to hell with the constitution when the people need coal"
